EKAR Regent Old Money Sofa | Custom Timeless Leather Sofa | EKAR FURNITURE
The essence of quiet luxury
The EKAR Regent Old Money Sofa (model PM011SF) is a study in understated sophistication. It rejects fast‑fashion furniture in favor of timeless proportions, deep button‑tufting (optional), and a silhouette that has graced stately homes for generations. This is not a sofa that shouts — it whispers quality through its perfectly balanced armrests, its generous yet refined seat depth, and its natural leather that will only grow more beautiful with age. Designed for those who value heritage over hype, the Regent becomes the quiet anchor of any living room.
Heirloom craftsmanship from Foshan
As a leading China furniture factory with over 20 years of experience, EKAR FURNITURE builds the Regent sofa in Foshan, China — a city world‑famous for its woodworking and leather artisans. We use only kiln‑dried solid oak or walnut frames, hand‑tied eight‑way spring systems, and high‑density foam topped with a layer of natural down feathers. The result is a sofa that resists sagging, squeaking, or fading for decades. Choose from full‑grain aniline leather (which develops a rich patina) or semi‑aniline for added stain resistance. Each piece is hand‑finished by our Foshan custom furniture team, ensuring that your Regent is as individual as your home.
Customized to your comfort and space
True old money style never forces you to adapt to a standard size. With the EKAR Regent, you control every dimension. While the standard configuration measures 280 cm (110″) wide, 108 cm (42″) deep, and 85 cm (34.5″) high, we can adjust length, seat depth, armrest height, and cushion firmness to fit your room and body perfectly. Need a narrower two‑seater for a city apartment? A deeper seat for lounging? A matching ottoman or a chaise extension? Our custom furniture process makes it effortless. We provide 3D renderings and leather swatches before production, so you see exactly how your Regent will look and feel.
Beyond the living room
While the Regent shines as the centerpiece of a luxury living room, its versatility extends to hospitality and commercial spaces. Hotel designers specify it for heritage‑style suites, private member clubs, and boutique hotel lobbies. Architects use it in private libraries, executive offices, and even grand entryways. For contract projects, we offer bulk production with consistent quality, fast lead times, and safe packaging for international shipping. The Regent is also available as a modular sectional, a loveseat, or a club chair to complete the set.

FAQ
Q1: What does “old money style” mean for this sofa?
It means timeless proportions, high‑quality natural materials, and no ostentatious details. Think rolled or track arms (customizable), deep seating, and leather that improves with age — like a well‑worn leather armchair in a gentleman’s club.
Q2: Can I change the dimensions from the standard 280cm width?
Absolutely. EKAR FURNITURE specializes in custom modern furniture — and that includes traditional styles too. You can adjust overall length, seat depth (from 50cm to 70cm), and height. Our Foshan custom furniture factory will build a sofa that fits your exact space.
Q3: Is this sofa suitable for commercial use, like hotels or member clubs?
Yes. The Regent sofa is engineered for both residential and heavy‑use contract environments. As an experienced China furniture factory that has supplied projects such as the Shenzhen MGM Hotel, we offer fire‑retardant upholstery, reinforced frames, and easy‑clean leather options. We also provide rapid after‑sales support for commercial orders.
Q4: What makes EKAR FURNITURE different from other China furniture manufacturers?
We combine 20+ years of heritage as a Foshan furniture manufacturer with a dedicated customization workflow. Unlike mass‑production factories, we offer end‑to‑end service: design development, material sampling (leather, fabric, wood), custom packaging, and a 5‑year warranty. Our four factories ensure strict quality control for single sofas or bulk hotel orders.
Q5: How long does production take, and can I order a sample cushion or leather swatch?
Yes. We send free leather swatches and fabric samples within 3‑5 days. A full pre‑production sample sofa takes 20–25 days. Bulk production (5–100 units) takes 30–50 days depending on customization. We ship worldwide via sea or air, and every sofa is packed in a reinforced wooden crate with foam and corner protectors.
