Pivot Pedestal Nightstand | Modern Black Floating-Style Bedside Table on Stainless Steel Disc Base - EKAR FURNITURE
A bedside table usually sits on legs, and the Pivot Pedestal Nightstand by EKAR FURNITURE skips them entirely. The whole piece is a matte-black rectangular body with a stepped profile, the front kept low and the back raised, and it stands on a single central brushed stainless-steel stem that opens into a round disc base, so the box appears to float above the floor with nothing between it and the ground but one clean line of metal. As a premier high-end furniture customization factory, we have shaped this nightstand for clients who want a bedside piece that reads architectural and calm rather than traditional, engineered in our renowned Foshan furniture factory.
The floating stance is the defining idea of the Pivot, and it changes how the bedside area feels more than the material does. Because the body hangs from a central stem rather than standing on four legs, the floor underneath stays completely clear, so the area around the bed reads as open and uncluttered, and the disc base keeps a small, contained footprint that is easy to place even in a tight corner. The stem and the base are both a brushed, matte stainless finish, so the metal reads as quiet and refined rather than mirror-bright, and the contrast of the soft black box above against the cool steel below is what gives the table its composed, modern look. The disc base also does practical work, keeping the piece low and stable so a full lamp on top does not make it feel top-heavy.
The body of the nightstand is where the design keeps its character. The stepped profile, a low front that rises to a taller back, gives the box a simple architectural shape that catches the light along its edges, and the matte black finish is soft and even, so the piece stays calm in daylight and reads as a clean dark form under a bedside lamp at night. The raised back is a small but useful detail, a low ledge that a glass or a small book can sit against without rolling toward the edge of the stem, and it keeps the top surface feeling composed even with everyday items on it. It is this kind of considered custom furniture shaping, one simple profile that is both decorative and genuinely easier to live with, that keeps the Pivot looking designed rather than assembled.
In the room, the nightstand works at the bedside, where the solid, closed body keeps the small nightly things hidden out of sight, or it moves into the living room as a compact pedestal stand for a lamp or a small vase, into an entry as a slim drop table, or into a boutique hotel room as a quiet, closed-front bedside element. Because there are no visible drawers or fronts, the piece stays visually light and does not add to the clutter of the bedroom, and because the base is a single contained disc rather than four spread legs, it is easy to position close to the bed without a leg reaching into the walkway. As a leading provider of export furniture, EKAR has engineered this nightstand with a reinforced body, a solid steel stem and base built to stay stable under a full lamp, and a finish built to resist the small daily marks of bedside use. Our global reputation is anchored by the high standards of our Foshan export furniture factory, with profound and sustained demand within the India import furniture sector, where clients in Mumbai and New Delhi seek complete modern bedroom collections with architectural bedside pieces for luxury apartments, villas, and boutique hospitality.
Choosing EKAR means tapping into the comprehensive resources of a premier Foshan custom furniture factory that prioritizes bespoke character and technical integrity over mass production. This nightstand is a testament to our mission of producing pieces that carry a sense of composure and high-end value. By maintaining the rigorous standards of a world-class high-end furniture customization factory, we empower our clients to offer furniture that is difficult to replicate and impossible to overlook. Whether it is set beside the bed in a London apartment, a luxury suite in Dubai, or a heritage villa in Mumbai, the Pivot Pedestal Nightstand delivers a level of refinement and craftsmanship that only fine bespoke manufacturing can achieve.
