EKAR Cocoon High-Back Accent Lounge Chair | Modern Minimalist Leisure Chair | EKAR FURNITURE
Design & SilhouetteThe EKAR Cocoon High-Back Accent Lounge Chair is a modern minimalist leisure chair built around a tall barrel back and a deep, rounded seat. The back rises in a clean vertical form that gently wraps forward at the sides, creating a contained, enveloping posture without feeling heavy or closed-in. Sitting low on slim metal legs, the chair has a floating quality that keeps it visually light despite its generous proportions. This is living room furniture designed to serve as a quiet focal point — a chair that draws attention through proportion and material rather than decorative detail. EKAR FURNITURE developed the Cocoon as a refined accent chair that works as a standalone statement piece or as part of a paired lounge arrangement.
Materials & UpholsteryThe Cocoon is fully upholstered across the seat, back, and side panels in premium velvet, boucle fabric, or textured weave. The upholstery wraps the entire form cleanly, with no exposed seams or structural interruptions on the visible surfaces. Leg options include slim brushed metal, satin gold, and matte black steel — each finish changing the character of the chair from warm and inviting to sharp and contemporary. Standard color options include warm brown, light gray, charcoal, and ivory. As a Foshan custom furniture factory, EKAR FURNITURE accepts full custom upholstery specifications for trade and wholesale clients, including leather, performance fabric, and COM material submissions.
Application & UseThe Cocoon Lounge Chair is most at home in living rooms where a high-back leisure chair is needed to define a seating zone without requiring a full sofa arrangement. Positioned beside a floor lamp or in a reading corner, it functions as a complete personal relaxation seat. The tall back provides natural head and neck support, making it genuinely comfortable for extended sitting. In hospitality settings — hotel suites, boutique lobbies, and executive lounges — the chair reads as premium and considered. The optional matching round ottoman rounds out the setup, adding foot support and reinforcing the chair's identity as a full-body leisure seating solution. It also pairs well as living room furniture alongside low-profile sofas and coffee tables in contemporary interior schemes.
Wholesale & Custom SupplyEKAR FURNITURE is a direct Foshan export furniture factory manufacturing leisure chairs, accent chairs, and living room furniture for international wholesale buyers, interior designers, and hospitality procurement teams. Our Foshan custom furniture factory supports OEM and ODM orders with full flexibility on upholstery, frame construction, leg finish, and cushion specification.
Quality StandardsEvery Cocoon Chair produced at EKAR FURNITURE's Foshan manufacturing facility is subject to structured pre-shipment inspection covering frame integrity, cushion density and evenness, upholstery seam quality, and leg attachment stability. The Cocoon is built not only to look refined on arrival but to maintain its form, comfort, and finish through years of regular residential or commercial use.

FAQ
Q: What type of chair is the EKAR Cocoon?
A: The Cocoon is a high-back barrel accent lounge chair — a type of modern minimalist leisure chair with a tall, fully upholstered back that wraps around the sitter. It is designed primarily as living room furniture but also suits bedrooms, hotel suites, and office lounges.
Q: Is the round ottoman included or sold separately?
A: The ottoman is sold separately as an optional add-on. It is upholstered in the same material and color as the lounge chair and sits on matching legs, creating a cohesive set when ordered together.
Q: What leg finishes are available?
A: Standard leg finishes include slim brushed metal, satin gold, and matte black steel. Custom leg finishes are available through EKAR FURNITURE's OEM service at our Foshan custom furniture factory, subject to MOQ.
Q: Is the Cocoon Chair comfortable for long periods of sitting?
A: Yes. The tall barrel back provides full back and head support, and the deep cushioned seat is designed for extended relaxation. It functions well as a reading chair, a lounge seat, or a quiet retreat in both residential and hospitality environments.
Q: Can this chair be upholstered in leather?
A: Yes. Leather upholstery is available as a custom option through EKAR FURNITURE's Foshan furniture factory. Both full leather and leather-fabric combination finishes can be arranged for trade and wholesale orders.
Q: Does EKAR FURNITURE export leisure chairs to India?
A: Yes. EKAR FURNITURE is a Foshan export furniture factory with active shipping to India. We manage all export documentation, freight logistics, and customs coordination for furniture import orders destined for India and other South Asian markets.
Q: How does the Cocoon differ from the EKAR Haven or Arc chairs?
A: The Cocoon has a taller, more enclosed barrel back that wraps around the sitter more fully, making it the most enveloping of the three. The Haven has a sculpted high-back shell with a more open top, while the Arc features an exposed open frame back. The Cocoon suits buyers who prioritize head and neck support and a cocooning seated posture.
