Rond Beige Barrel Sofa | Modern Rounded Linen Sofa with Floating Cylindrical Back - EKAR FURNITURE
A sofa is usually the first thing a guest touches in a living room, and the Rond Beige Barrel Sofa by EKAR FURNITURE is built to make that first touch feel considered. Its whole body is one continuous rounded oval of light beige linen, and its back is a second, separate cylinder that floats just above the seat, so the piece reads as a soft sculptural object you can actually sink into. As a premier high-end furniture customization factory, we have shaped this sofa for clients who want a modern seat that stays warm and quiet in the room, born from our renowned Foshan furniture factory.
The upholstery is a woven linen in a soft oatmeal beige, its texture visible up close as a fine, even weave that keeps the surface honest rather than plasticky. Because the tone is a true neutral, it sits easily beside a pale floor, a warm rug, a cognac leather chair, or a deeper accent, and it picks up a soft, slightly warmer cast in the evening lamplight that keeps the sofa from ever feeling cold. The edges are all rounded, the seat base and the back both curving into one continuous shape, so there is no hard corner anywhere on the piece, which is what gives a sofa like this its gentle, approachable feel the moment you sit down.
The shape is where the design earns its character, built the way our Foshan custom furniture factory resolves its most distinctive work. The seat is a low, wide barrel, a single rounded cushion that swallows the body from the waist down, and it is raised just enough off the floor to stay grounded without feeling bulky. Above it, the back is a full separate cylinder, deliberately left a small gap from the seat below, so the two forms read as two stacked, floating clouds instead of one fixed frame. That gap is a custom furniture detail that changes how the whole sofa sits in the room, giving it a lighter, more designed look than a conventional seat with a joined back, and it frames the shoulder line in a way that makes the silhouette feel calm and composed from any angle.
The sofa stands on short, dark cylindrical feet, set well inboard under the rounded base, so the body appears to rest just above the floor on a low, quiet stand. Because the feet are short and tucked in, the sofa keeps a low profile that opens up the sightlines across the living room, which matters in an open-plan space where you want the furniture to feel light rather than wall-like. Styled against a plain wall or set on a rug in the middle of the room, it works as a full-width seat, and its soft beige reads comfortably in a master bedroom sitting area, a compact city apartment, or a hotel lounge where you want a modern neutral that photographs well and still cushions like a proper sofa. As a leading provider of export furniture, EKAR has engineered this sofa with a solid reinforced base, high-density wrapped foam that keeps the rounded shape, and a linen finish chosen to hold its texture through years of daily use. Our global reputation is anchored by the high standards of our Foshan export furniture factory, with profound and sustained demand within the India import furniture sector, where clients in Mumbai and New Delhi seek complete modern living room collections with soft neutral tones for luxury apartments, villas, and boutique hospitality.
Choosing EKAR means tapping into the comprehensive resources of a premier Foshan custom furniture factory that prioritizes bespoke character and technical integrity over mass production. This sofa is a testament to our mission of producing pieces that carry a sense of softness and high-end value. By maintaining the rigorous standards of a world-class high-end furniture customization factory, we empower our clients to offer furniture that is difficult to replicate and impossible to overlook. Whether it is set along the wall in a London apartment, a luxury living room in Dubai, or a heritage villa in Mumbai, the Rond Beige Barrel Sofa delivers a level of sophistication and craftsmanship that only fine bespoke manufacturing can achieve.
